The cabin is 5 miles off Highway 259, accessible via U.S. Forest Service roads. Expect stunning wildlife—white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, and birds of prey frequently make appearances! 4WD / AWD is helpful but NOT required Recommended Vehicles: Small, medium, or large SUVs Any size truck Crossovers Not Recommended: Sedans or coupes Minivans The first 2 miles are easy (25 mph speed limit), but the last 3 miles require slower driving due to: Small creek crossings (shallow, usually 4 inches or less) Rocky, bumpy terrain 12% uphill grades—you’ll climb your way to the summit! 🚖 Need a ride?
